Ballyness Penthouse

Nice stay with a few flaws Positive: Beautiful apartment, we had a lovely stay for my partners 40th birthday the apartment is very spacious and has a lovely media wall. The swivel chair is very comfortable! Some Pringles and water left on arrival. Tv above hot tub is a nice touch Cleaners are very friendly High quality bedding Negative: Lack of communication from property almost impossible to get in contact with I left 2 message on booking.com. Called the property 3 times before arrival and left a message with no response. Finally got a response on instagram the day before we arrived. Unfortunately I only got the answer to my question about a bbq when we where on our way so we didn’t bother as we where unsure and didn’t want to waste money buying food if we couldn’t bbq. We arrived 30minutes before check-in it is self check in so we when up to check it key was there (there is no key) we found the apartment still sitting the way the previous quests had left I rang reception spoke to a girl who seemed unbothered and said checkin wasn’t to 3. 2 cleaners came at 2.45 and and had it finished in 15minutes. Lots of spiders and webs in the property (I hate spiders) A lot of other little things could improve for the price of this property. Ie - A coffee machine (a property of this price and spec should have a coffee machine instead of Nescafé original I hate cheap coffee… - Slippers with the robes - bubble bath or something to use in the bath - lights above breakfast bar flicker so can’t use them. - some seating beside hot tub

Had the best time staying in the penthouse, 100% recommend! Positive: We Loved the property! It was very clean, cosy and has amazing staff. We stayed on Valentine’s Day and much effort was put into decorations for the occasion. Location is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We had a very comfortable stay! Negative: There’s nothing that we didn’t like about the property, no complaints!

Negative: Stayed at the penthouse yesterday. We have also stayed here before many times. Booked this and paid for extra add ons for a special touch for my girlfriends birthday as I wanted her day to be perfect, unfortunately on arrival we were greeted with a huge pile of dirty laundry bedding,socks,etc This was extremely disappointing as my girlfriend has bad ocd and she was very upset that she had to look at that most of the night while trying to relax in the hot tub it definitely dampened the mood. We had to climb over them to get in and out of the property just really disappointing as the place itself is stunning and amazing location I have taken photos if you would like me to send it.
